How to access Linux VPS with SSH on Mac

In this article you will see how to access your Linux VPS via SSH on Mac
Note that Mac computers have installed by default SSH client and there is no need to download anything.

1. You will find the client by going to your Applications -> Other, as it is shown on the screenshot. There is an application named Terminal. This is the default SSH client for Mac

2. When the Terminal is opened, you have to type the command for starting SSH session
ssh root@yourhostname.com

where root is the username and yourhostname.com is the exact VPS hostname or IP address.

2.1. Put your password and press Enter. If the details are correct the SSH session will be started successfully
